Larry Ray Hatfield
Larry Ray Hatfield passed away October 16, 2011 at the age of 60 in Kennewick, WA after a long battle with cancer. Larry was born May 4, 1951 in Seattle, WA. He was the son of Laurence I Hatfield and O. Elaine Hatfield. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pasco, WA. Larry graduated from Pasco Senior High School in 1969. Larry volunteered for the Army in 1969. He was very honored to serve his country. He retired 28 years later. He loved to hunt, fish, and go camping and tell us all about the adventures. He loved being around his family, especially the potlucks. He also loved his coin collections and his special dog "HiCu". As a young man, he always had a job, mowing lawns, pulling weeds, moving sprinklers on farms, picking cherries and a paper route. If there was a job, he was the first one to jump in. He worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad in Pasco, WA and retired after 38 years. He is survived by his dear wife, Wendy; his two sons Thomas Cendy Hatfield and Bradley Hatfield; and daughter Alana Marie Davis; his mother, Elaine Hatfield; sister Sherrie James Repp. He had six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Laurence I. Hatfield, and brother Thomas Edward Hatfield. A graveside service will be at Cityview Cemetery in Pasco, WA on October 21, 2011, at 2:00 pm.
"You know!" you are going to be greatly missed by us all. Our sincere gratitude to all his doctors and staff for the loving care given to Larry.
