Worshipful Master and Doctor Leonel Zolessi, of Richland, WA left us at the age of 70, as he was to dedicate his life to the Fraternity and to assist with the difficult issues of Health Care in America. He was born on July 9, 1947, in Montevideo, Uruguay to parents Horacio Luis Zolessi and Orfilia Yolanda Britos, his only brother Sergio L. Zolessi succumbed to prostate cance in early 2016. He attended and graduated as Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from the Medical School in Montevideo, Uruguay in December 1974 and accepted a training position in Gynecology and Obstetrics in Dearborn, Michigan where he finished his training in 1982. He then worked in Gillette, Wyoming at the brand new Campbell County Memorial Hospital until 2002 when he transferred to the Tri-Cities Community Center in Pasco, WA as Chief of Women's Health Center; he retired in 2016. Leonel is survived by his wife, Dr. Delia Viera a Pediatrician; daughter Rossana Yorgason, Marcelo Zolessi and M.M. Alex Zolessi.
