Lester Lee Maier, 69, of Kennewick, WA passed away at home on December 21st. He was born May 19, 1953 in Pasco, WA to Carl Maier and Margaret Swoboda. He attended Pasco High School and graduated in 1971.

Lester was a Vietnam Veteran having served with the U.S. Navy. Upon service to his country he met and married the love of his life Margaret in Milwaukee, WI on October 11, 1980.

Lester was a power plant operator, spending most of his career at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam before retiring in 2013. He was an avid fisherman, loved riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Eric; brothers Carl, Dave, Steve and Mark; sister Carol; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

No memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled for both Lester and Margaret, who passed on December 1st.
