Leticia Vasquez-Mota Obituary

Leticia Vasquez-Mota, 52, of Pasco, accepted the Lord's embrace on October 27th,

2023, due to heart failure. She was also battling kidney failure, passing peacefully in her

sleep. Leticia was born July 8th, 1971, to Alicia Vasquez and Roberto Vasquez in

Othello, WA. She was married, divorced, and lived her life dedicated to her children.

She was preceded in death by Alicia R. Vasquez and survived by Leyla Al-Bermany,

Alicia Mota, Roberto Vasquez, Tomasa Vasquez, Araceli Garcia and Corina

Vasquez-Flores.

The positive influences in Leticia's life were her father Roberto Vasquez, her mother

Alicia Vasquez, her step mother Tomasa Vasquez, older sister Araceli Garcia, and

younger sister Corina Vasquez-Flores. Leticia and her family lived a life of love and

warmth throughout the years. Her friends, Francisca, Dora and others, impacted her life

significantly as well. Throughout her life, these women have paved the way to develop

the woman she was.

As a young child, Leticia loved to draw, and had a talent for it. She also loved fashion

and trying on gorgeous fabrics, dressing herself up for her friends and family. With these

two talents she possessed, her goal was to be a fashion designer. When Leticia was a

young adult, she loved spending time with her sisters. The bond with her sisters Leticia

cherished.The experiences and conversations exchanged between them, drew them

closer over the years. The loss of Leticia will certainly not be replaced.

Leticia's kindness and helpful personality continued into her career. In 1994, she

graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors in Psychology. She

was dedicated to her career in Social work at DSHS and was very successful and

passionate. Leticia used her career as a tool to provide and secure a future for her two

beautiful daughters. Her main concern was to provide for her children as they were her

main calling in her life.

Leticia was the most loving and involved mother. Her devotion as a successful single

mother is one a few will understand. As a young mother, she moved to Pasco in 2002.

She raised her two daughters, Leyla and Alicia, while cultivating a positive home life.

They attended St. Patrick Catholic Parish in Pasco. Leticia loved to garden in the spring

and summer with her girls. They spent time harvesting berries and flowers together,

cooking and greeting each morning on the porch. Constant laughter was floating in the

home, as Leticia loved to watch videos of people crunching on ice and other funny

videos. She took her two daughters on outings often, making sure the girls had

memorable childhood memories outside of the house.

Her heart was devoted to the loves of her life, even in the hospital bed she was

concerned and caring for her children. Leticia made sure they had everything they

needed in their day to day lives to be comfortable against the harsh world outside. This

single mom offered what every child needs to thrive; a successful mother who would do

anything and everything for her children. Their relationship is inseparable. Leticia's

guidance is forever instilled in their lives ahead.

In honor of her praiseworthy life, Leticia's Celebration of Life will be on November 18th,

taking place at 825 E Ash St, Othello, WA 99344 at 1pm-4pm. To send flowers of love
