Margie Ann Kessie Margie Ann Kessie was called to her heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. Though her last days were filled with physical hardship her capacity to brighten someone else's day never failed her. Margie was born in Chicago Illinois on May 30, 1925; the youngest of 4 children born to George and Margaret Adams. Margie lived most of her childhood with her maternal grandparents on a farm in Decatur Michigan where she learned the value of hard work from her grandfather and her ability to garden, cook, can, bake bread and love from her grandmother. Margie entered into an everlasting love when she married Paul Edward Kessie on December 24th 1945 in the Fort Wayne home of her Mother and Stepfather Margaret and Ed Blessing. Paul had won her heart in life and she would not let it go even in death. In 1947 the couple moved to Richland WA and it was here they would find a place to call home. Five sons and eventually 5 beautiful daughters in law, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren would come to bless their family. Family was at the heart of Margie's life but it was her faith in Jesus Christ that gave her strength and directed her life. Anyone who knew Margie could not help but feel of her love and would most often be a recipient of her kindness. Margie is survived by her five sons and their wives Jim Brenda, Larry Teri, Bob Denise, Ken Brenda and Steve Patty and her 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten by those who have had the privilege of her love. Through the passing of this life brings the joy of being reunited with those who preceded her in death. Memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Center in Kennewick WA Friday April 29th at 1:00 PM with graveside and reception following.
