Marilyn Gail
Morrill
Aug 6, 1950 — Oct 18, 2023
Marilyn Gail (Fear) Morrill, 73, returned to her Heavenly Father on October 18, 2023. She was born to Mary Lou (Horan) and Jack Fear on August 6, 1950, in San Jose, California. She met her future husband, Mark Francis Morrill, while he was serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Ord. He told her he liked her cute face and her smile. She fell for that line and married in Salinas, California on June 27, 1970. After serving in the Army, Mark moved the family to Ellensburg, Washington, to finish his college education.
Marilyn owned and operated a successful daycare & preschool for 30 years, Teddy Bear Daycare. She loved little children, talking to them, playing with them, and being in their presence. She felt very honored to spend her days in the presence of angels. She could think of no greater job.
After retiring, Mark and Marilyn relocated to Basin City, Washington, where they lived with their son, Josh, and family. She started a preschool at Bailie Memorial Youth Ranch and taught for five more years.
Being a grandma was her greatest joy, maybe even more than being a wife and mother. She adored her grandchildren; they were the light in her eyes. She loved going to the beach house and spending time with her family.
She planned the best adventures and most fun events; she even planned this one! Anyone who knew Marilyn loved her. She was fun-loving, easygoing, and tenderhearted. She loved everyone. She had a way of touching people's hearts and changing their lives.
