Marilyn Lee Stephenson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Lee Stephenson, who departed this world on November 28, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on July 31, 1944, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Marilyn was the cherished daughter of Lionel Stewart and Mary Ellen Chapman.

Marilyn's life was one of passion, devotion, and fulfillment. A trailblazer in her field, she excelled as a stockbroker, a career she approached with determination and integrity. Outside of her professional achievements, Marilyn was a proud and longtime member of the American Military Society, reflecting her deep respect and admiration for those who serve.

While her accomplishments were many, Marilyn's greatest pride and joy were her family. She leaves behind a rich legacy through her four beloved children, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchild, and one great-great-grandchild. Her boundless love and unwavering support were the foundation upon which her family thrived.

Marilyn's life was also enriched by her passions and interests. An avid reader, she found endless joy and inspiration within the pages of books. She was particularly drawn to the beauty and serenity of Cannon Beach, where she spent countless hours watching the storms roll in, finding a deep sense of peace in the rhythmic power of the ocean.

Marilyn will be remembered for her wisdom, her love of family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will remain a guiding light for all who knew her. She is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
