Mary Jane Anderson, 80, passed away April 11, 2024, in Kennewick, WA after her battle with ALS. She was born December 23, 1943, to Eugene Edwin and Marion Ruth (Olsen) Byron in Spanish Fork, Utah.

On March 5, 1965, Mary married Raymond Gull Anderson in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

Mary was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She showed that love by the abundant acts of quiet service she rendered to so many of God's children throughout her lifetime. She also humbly served in many leadership positions in the church. She and Ray served several church missions as a couple including a service mission at the Bishop's Storehouse, a mission to Croatia and two missions to Mongolia. No matter where she served, she was a ministering angel to those she encountered.

Mary enjoyed her family, especially her 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, gardening, making and displaying Hansen Classic ceramic pieces and loving people. Her smile was quick and generous for everyone she interacted with.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; daughter, Terilyn (Michael R.) Nelson; son, Thomas S. Anderson; both of Kennewick, WA; daughter-in-law, Terilyn Anderson of Riverton, UT; sisters, Nina (Jan) Furner and Lorna (James) Stritikus; and brother, Jim (Julie) Byron.

She is preceded in death by her son, R. David Anderson and brother, Jerry Byron.

Interment will be on April 23, 2024, at Spanish Fork City Cemetery in Spanish Fork, Utah.
