August 2nd, 1961 – February 18th, 2024

Richland, WA- Melinda was taken home to Heaven on February 18th, 2024 at the age of 62. She was born to Bonnie Lee and Wesley Marion Rumley on August 2nd in Benton City, WA. She was the youngest of five siblings proceeded by Larry, David, Lisa and Randy. She has lived in the Tri-Cities area her entire life. She graduated from Kiona-Benton High School in 1979 and went on to start a family years later with her former husband and her only child Miranda. She loved to do many things, like crafting with beads, making collages and decorative pictures, fleece tied blankets, and so much more. She enjoyed going on motorcycle trips, spending time with family and friends and enjoying life. She loved country music, and you could tell when she drove the car last as the radio would be left on 94.9 The Wolf. Her health did decline in the end, but that never stopped her cheeky and stubborn attitude which we all knew and loved. She is survived by her daughter Miranda, her son-in-law Tyler, her brother Randy and many other family members and friends that miss her and will never forget her.
