Michael John Araiza passed away on May 21, 2011 at the young age of 26 in Connell, Washington. He was born on March 5, 1985, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lazetta Lua and Lonnie Araiza. Michael lived in the Tri-Cities off and on for 20 years, but currently had been living in Seattle. Michael recently graduated with his GED, and was to receive his certificate on June 3, 2011. He enjoyed writing and singing. Michael loved spending time with his family, especially his precious little Adrianna. Michael had a deep love for Jesus and loved to share. He is survived by his mother, Lazetta Lua; father, Lonnie Araiza; grandparents Lupe and Rosalie Chavez; life partner, Maria Valezquez, daughter, Adrianna Araiza; brother, Juan Jimenez; sisters, Angela Renteria and Kayla Araiza; lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his great grandfather John Valesquez and grandmother Ellen Messer. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011, from 4pm-7pm at Hillcrest Bruce Lee Memorial Center, 2804 W. Lewis St. in Pasco. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011, 11:30am at Hillcrest Bruce Lee followed by graveside at City View Cemetery.
