Michael Joseph Bourdon was born on February 14, 1979, in Groton Connecticut. His parents were Edward Bourdon and Barbra Cortney (Bourdon) and Stepparents Teresa Bourdon and Richard Courtney. He leaves behind Brothers and sisters Gale McCool, Richard Spielvogel, Robert Spielvogel, Crista Courtney and Todd Courtney. Mike has been married to Kimberly Bourdon since 2010. He was a Father of 2, Michaela German Aged 26 (Ray James), Michael Joseph Bourdon Jr Age 12, Also leaves behind his only Granddaughter Rylee Fay James age 2. Mike was brought home to Plainfield Connecticut after he was born and then later moved to Canterbury Connecticut where he spent his early childhood with his brothers and sisters. As a young teen he settled in Kennewick Washington. He was a very hard worker and excellent Carpenter. He belonged to the labor union local 348 and Eugene carpenter #271 unions. He enjoyed taking both of his children fishing. Mike loved the outdoors, hunting and especially camping in his favorite camp spot in Tucannon Washinton. He loved watching cooking shows and M.A.S.H. He recently got into woodworking and wood burning. He made beautiful custom axe handles and walking sticks. Mike Is proceeded in death by his father Edward Bourdon, mother Barbra Courtney and stepfather Richard Courtney. Mike had lots of friends who loved him dearly, especially his childhood friend of over 30 years Martin Lance (Casee). You can Join us for his viewing at Hillcrest in Kennewick, WA on Saturday August 26, 2023, from 4-8pm with speaker at 6 pm.
Please think of a special or funny memory to share with the family. We will be doing a spreading of the ashes next year Memorial Day weekend at his favorite camp site.
