Myra Dee Heil Rothrock, 87 of Richland, WA peacefully went to be with the Good Lord on June 22, 2022. Myra was born in LaPorte, IN on November 12, 1934. She married Donald Rothrock on October 20, 1956 in Kalispell, MT and spent 36 wonderful years together before Don's death in 1992. They made their home in Mt. Vernon, WA and proudly raised their 3 children-Laura, Steve, and Roy. She worked many years with DeGoede Bulb Farm and Ted Jonkheer Greenhouses in the Skagit Valley. Myra was an Elder in the Avon Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon where she was an influence to others around her. In 1994 she moved to eastern Washington to be closer to family. Being an avid reader, Myra faithfully read her "chapters" which consisted of the Bible and Daily Devotionals each morning. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in West Richland. Myra was a friend to everyone she met, no one was a stranger to her. She loved to share stories from her childhood adventures. She was always an anchor to those she loved and gave the best advise she knew. There was never a time when you would leave her house or end a phone call without her saying "Love you and God be with you." She was loved by many and will be missed by all of us until we meet again. She is preceded in death by her husband-Donald Rothrock, son-Roy Rothrock, parents-Paul and Fern Heil, brothers-Max and Jack Heil, sisters-Mavis McNamara and Shirley Jones; in-laws- Shirley Heil, Del McNamara, Ernest and Flora Rothrock, Robert and Mary Rothrock, Ralph and Vera Rothrock, Gene and Carol Pearson, and her "favorite son-in-law" Robert (Bob) Williams. Myra is survived by her children-Laura Williams and Steve (Brenda) Rothrock, grandchildren-Jill (Mike) Merk, Courtney Williams, Steve Rothrock, Andrea Williams, and Evan (Dennette) Williams, great grandchildren-Kaden, Ellie, Daniel, Noah, and Oliver; brother-Paul (Doris) Heil, sister-Sally (Dave) Frances. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she treasured. There will be a family burial in Mt. Vernon at a later date.
