Nazar Aleksandrovich Zavalnyuk, 29, passed away on 12/31/23. He was born in Ukraine on June 29, 1994, to Aleksander and Raisa Zavalnyuk. Nazar is survived by his parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, brother in-law, sister in-law, 7 nieces, 4 nephews, as well multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Growing up, Nazar enjoyed reading his personal Ukrainian Bible. In August of 2012 he was baptized in Ark of Salvation Church in Kennewick, WA. Until the end, his room was decorated with his personal inscription: "I am a servant of Jesus Christ".

Nazar will be fondly remembered for his compassion, especially towards animals, his impeccable organization skills, and his selfless dedication to helping his mother with household tasks and errands. His other interests included graphic design and computer sciences. Recently, he delighted in the newfound freedom and enjoyment of riding an electric bike around town.

From an early age, Nazar faced a sense of misunderstanding, experiencing the harshness of this world. His later years on this earth were filled with challenges that remain difficult for any of us to truly grasp. However, we find solace in the belief that he has now found peace through the grace and mercy of God.

Nazar frequently expressed remorse for past actions and his desire to please God. We are grateful that it is ultimately God who decides who will enter the gates of heaven and eat the bread of life. God has a unique plan and trials for each soul that is beyond our comprehension. He also had a plan for Nazar. May God's name be eternally blessed.
