In Loving Memory of Our Mother, Nelda E. (Winston) Melvin

November 7, 1940 - June 15, 2025

On June 15, 2025, our beautiful mother, Nelda E. (Winston) Melvin, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. She was born on November 7, 1940, in Pasco, Washington, to her loving parents, Edward and Margaret Winston.

Our mom was truly a wonderful person-kind, gentle, and full of love. She devoted her life to her family and raised four children with incredible strength and warmth. She was not only a devoted mother but also a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to many more.

Mom loved being a homemaker, and she had a true gift for making our house a home. She especially enjoyed crocheting and found such peace in creating things with her hands. Whether it was a handmade blanket or a warm meal, everything she did was filled with love.

Her love for her family was constant and unconditional. She taught us how to care for one another, how to face life's challenges with grace, and how to find joy in the simple things. She was our rock, and we will miss her more than words can say.

Our mom's legacy lives on in all of us-in the traditions she started, in the values she passed down, and in the memories we'll carry in our hearts forever. She touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.
