Nicholas James Devine of Richland was called out to God with his last breath on October 23, 2008, and is now eternally free with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nicholas was born in Concord, California on August 24, 1983 and moved to Richland in 1988. Even though Nick was only here for 25 years, he had a lot of dreams and ambition and a very fulfilled life. He always dreamed of becoming a pilot and wanted to serve his country. He had many hobbies. He loved riding his motorcycle with the wind in his face and flying free. He was a true thrill seeker and embraced every one of those exciting moments put on his path with ease. He was an incredible snowboarder and loved being on the snow covered mountains. Nick accomplished every project he loved with a passion no matter how difficult. He enjoyed fishing, swimming and floating the river with his family and friends. He had a heart as big as the ocean and always gave of himself to those he loved, and even to those he didn't know. He loved Mt. Shasta and being outdoors. He was always on the go. He was an amazing carpenter. He was our pride and joy and an amazing daddy to his precious Butterfly ShelbyPaige Nyra Devine. Mama loved your most beautiful hazel eyes and long eyelashes; we will miss them looking back at us all. You could see Nick's soul in his smile so bright, it was contagious and he made you smile back at him. When ever anyone asked Nick for help he was always there for them. He loved helping his dad with projects and keeping him company. He always was telling jokes and made people laugh. If you were sad he always offered a hug and told you everything will be okay. I love you son, you are a good boy! You are a true blessing the memories of you will live forever in our hearts. Nicholas is survived by his father, Michael Devine Jr., his mother, Tina Louise Pielstick, fianc�, Jessica Ranae Sams, step-father, Lloyd Pielstick, step-mother, Monica Devine, Godparents Aunt Denise and Uncle Harry Populis, Grandparents Michael and Dawn Devine, Bonnie and Lee Pielstick, brothers Michael Devine III, Matthew Devine, and Gregory Pielstick, sister Journey Pielstick, Aunts and Uncles; Mark and Kim Devine, Judy Devine and Bob Generoli, Kelly Janssen, Julie Torson, Barb Lacy, Darren Ceriale, Denise and Mel Haug, and Bruce and Lisa Pielstick; nieces Madeleine Vanderschoor, Zoe and Rowan Devine, nephew Gavin Devine, cousins, Shane, Andrea, Kaitlyn and Dylan Devine, Giovanni and Amelia Populis, Kyle Janssen, Leah and Evan Generoli, Brandon Torson, Angie and Joey Haug, Ashley, Amanda, and Alysa Pielstick, and numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins, and many others that were touched by his life and love.
