Obituary

Noe G. Valadez of Pasco WA went to his Lord in Heaven on Saturday May 10th, 2023 surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Noe was born in Weslaco Texas on October 16, 1940 to Felipe and Andrea Valadez. Noe married Olivia Palomarez on August 20th, 1963; they were married for 59 ½ years.

Having spent 56 years of his life in the Tri-Cities, Noe originally did migrant work harvesting strawberries, asparagus, and hops, then received a scholarship from Columbia Basin College where he earned his accounting degree with honors in 1968. During his lifetime, Noe ran his own businesses, including a tortilla factory (El Sombrero) and he started his own accounting business in 1978, which thrived until his passing. The favorite things he loved to do was spending time with his family and friends hunting, camping and fishing.

Noe was preceded in death by his parents Felipe Valadez and Andrea (Garcia) Valadez, his siblings Criselda (Valadez) Coronado, Romeo Valadez and Jose Gilberto Valadez. Noe is survived by his wife Olivia, his sons Noe Jr. (Brenda Harding) and Ben (Melissa), as well as his grandchildren Joey, Nico, Adrian, Tiara, Jewel, Aleja, Mateo and 9 great grandchildren.

Noe was truly blessed in this life, having found his soulmate in Olivia and raising two boys, whom he toted with him wherever he went, especially to the outdoors. It was effortless to spend time with Noe, as he was kind and generous with his attention, which was exemplified in his roles as a dedicated, loving husband and father. His legacy is continued in his children and grandchildren, as well as the many stories he shared with us; Noe lived a varied life and always had fascinating stories to tell.

To speak to Noe was to know him, and to know Noe was to love him. May the holes in our hearts be filled with that love as we mourn the passing of a great man.
