Noon Kaing, 69, passed away on March 25, 2024 in Kennewick, WA. He was born on March 2, 1955 in Ratanakiri Cambodia to Sai and Tin Pen. In 1975 when the Khmer Rouge took over Cambodia, Noon and members of his family and friends fled their war torn country and arrived at a refugee camp at the Thailand and Cambodia border. He lived as a refugee until early 80s and then he was sponsored to the United States. He lived in Dallas Texas until he reconnected with Thon Kaing and they got married in Kennewick Washington on July 15, 2000. He lived in the Tri cities for 24 years. He worked at Sky Chef (living in Texas) and Tyson Meats in Washington until he retired. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, cooking authentic Cambodian dishes, gardening and taking care of his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Thon Kaing, brother-in-law Khape Kaing, his sisters, Soroeup Voeul and Samantha Pen, step kids, grandkids, nephew, and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, mother Tin Pen, father Sai and brother VeeVi Sai. Noon is laid to rest in Kennewick, WA.
