Normand Dominique unexpectedly passed in his sleep to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on December 21, 2024. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on August 2, 1948 to Gerard Dominique and Rita LeDuc. He was one of four children.

He lived most of his life in Montreal and at various stages of his life, worked as an Assistant Bank Manager, Security Guard, and Sales representative. He enjoyed playing bridge, fishing, listening to and sharing music, and photography. Normand met his wife Carrie online at a card playing site (spades) and they married on May 4, 2007 and lived in Montreal for a few years. Normand loved going to Elvis Presley tribute artist shows in Montreal and introduced his wife to it. In March 2011, he moved with his wife Carrie to a small home in Finley, Washington. He soon found the local bridge people and a fishing partner and discovered the many activities of the area (rodeos, demo derbys and locally produced plays). He also found a church called C3 in Richland that he enjoyed attending with his wife. Any event he attended, he had his camera at the ready and was taking pictures of the event and people enjoying themselves. He loved to play bridge several times a week and frequently would take treats such as carrot cakes or homemade muffins to his bridge group. Normand had an enormous heart and was always willing to help others. As a small example, at the grocery store, he would always grab a premade bag for the can food drive.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 17 years, Carrie Hill, by his brother Andre and his sister Jeannine both of Montreal and numerous nephews and nieces, and by his stepchildren, Jason Hill and Jonathan Hill and daughter in law Amy. Normand was preceded in death by his parents, by his younger brother, and by his uncle Serge.

Normand started falling in love with Carrie online while playing spades and frequently talked on a messenger service. When they first met in person, Normand handed her a lovely pink rose and asked if he could have a kiss. His adoring eyes, sweet smile, and gentle nature captured her heart forever. She will always cherish the time they shared together and the many memories they made together. Carrie was truly blessed to have Normand's love, strength and companionship as an incredible kind and caring husband. He will be forever remembered for his warm nature, artistic talent (photography and music), and dedication to his family and friends. Normand will be deeply missed by many and will forever be in their hearts. We shall meet again in heaven.
