Obituary

Pat Perry; Our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, (GeGe / Nana), Aunt and Friend, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 5, 2013, with family by her side. Pat was born on the west plains of Lamesa, TX, February 16, 1930 to Carl and Ruby Hayes. The family migrated to the Northwest during the construction of Grand Coulee Dam, early 1930's to 1940's. Pat's family ran the Green Hut Cafe at the dam site. Pat learned to wait tables, her Dad as chef, brother's Tex and Jack as prep cooks. The family lived in the back of the cafe, which is now the Museum / Interpretive Center. The family then moved to Pasco in 1943 as the work boom shifted to Hanford. Pat spent the rest of her youth in Pasco, graduating from PHS in 1948. She spent a year at WSU, and then married the love of her life, Stan Perry, January 27, 1950, blessed with 59 years of marriage before Stan preceded her in death on March 6, 2009. Pat moved with Stan and her two children, Linda and Jay to Bangkok Thailand in the early 1960's, returning after 3 1/2 years then returned to Bangkok for another 7 years. Pat was prone to excel in every venture she took up. An avid bowler, golfer and "big time" fisherwoman"! She was a gourmet cook and loved to entertain. Later in her life, when she couldn't golf anymore, she got into her gardens (she loved the different colors of plants growing together) crocheting and needlepoint (beautiful works). Pat continued mastering her chef skills trying many different recipes (and collecting lots of recipe books) settling down with Thai food as her favorite. She will be truly missed by all! Pat is survived by her daughter, Linda and her husband Pat Prudhomme. Son, Jay Perry and his wife Joyce. Grandson, Chad Perry and his wife Sheila. Grandson, Luke Perry and his wife Sunshine. 5 Great Grandsons, Austin, Trent, Logan, Caleb and Isaac Perry. Niece's, Melody Erbivelli and Carla King, both living in Florida.
