Patricia Anderson of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on April 22, 2023, she was 91 years old. Patricia was born on April 9, 1932, in West Salt Lake City, Utah to William Burgess and Mary (Cropper) Pratt. Patricia married Henry Anderson on July 30th, 1953. Patricia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Relief Society President for many years. She and Henry served a Genealogy mission in Jamestown, New York. They also served as Temple workers in the Seattle and Columbia River temples. Patricia was a kind, loving, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She made her home very peaceful and calm. Music was a very important part of her home. She always made holidays very special with her unique way of decorating and jazzing up her home, especially at Christmas. Christmas was her favorite holiday, with decorations in every room. Friends and family would visit her at Christmas just to see all her beautiful decorations. Patricia put together multiple Family History books of her ancestors, which have made their way into the homes of relatives all over the United States. She loved to scrapbook and made many photo albums of family reunions, weddings, Christmas and holiday gatherings. She loved her country very much and was very spiritual and always very thankful for the blessings that God gave her. She was an excellent example for her children, grandchildren, and posterity. Patricia is survived by one son, four daughters and their spouses; Mary (Alan) Draney, Brenda (Byron) Gessel, Jolene (Ed) Benning, Dana and (Debbie) Anderson, Carol (Ron) Cuevas; 27 grandchildren, their spouses and 43 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, all her siblings, son Alan Patrick Anderson and two great-grandchildren Brody Steven Pierson and Lucas Cole Benning.
A Public Viewing will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, WA with Funeral Services on Saturday, May 27, 2023 ~ 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Buntin Chapel), 820 S. Buntin St., Kennewick, WA, followed by Graveside services at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, WA.
