Obituary

Patricia Patti Cunningham Patricia Cunningham Patti age 57, with her loving family by her side, went to be with her Lord and Savior April 28, 2007. She passed away at her home in Pasco, following a courageous 5 year battle with Cancer. She was born July 12, 1949 in Santa Monica California to the late Jewell E. Holcomb and Rodney E. Holcomb. In 1967 she graduated from University High School Los Angeles, CA. Patti moved to Washington State in 1976, where she met and married her husband of 27 years, Kenneth Cunningham in June of 1980. Working for GTE for 19 years in various departments, she moved to Battelle in 1990 where she retired as a Project Manager due to her illness in 2006. Patti enjoyed many outdoor activities including golfing, waterskiing, fishing, and camping. She always enjoyed the ocean, and loved taking regular RV trips to the Oregon Coast with family. Patti loved being a Grandmother and spending time with her four grandchildren. Faith being a foundation in her life, she valued her participation in a Bible study with friends. Precious to her was the Christmas season and the opportunity to help many of the less fortunate children in our community each year. Patti spent much of her sick time making bookmarks for the children of Whittier Elementary School. With an outgoing personality and a loving smile it was easy for Patti to make lasting friendships no matter where she was or what she was doing. Touching and brightening many lives, she will be deeply missed. Patti is survived by her husband Kenneth Cunningham. Her daughter Amy Strege, husband Sean and their two children Ian and Morgan. Her step-son Kevin Cunningham, wife Tamie and their two children Ryan and Hunter. Her step daughter Kerri Cunningham of Detroit Michigan.
