Paul Ambrose Waddell of West Richland, Washington, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Paul was born March 18, 1956 in Boise, Idaho, the son of Margaret Maher and Austin Waddell. He graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1974.

Paul married Colleen Bennett in Pasco, Washington in 1981. The couple divorced in 1993, with children.

Paul worked many varied jobs throughout his career as a laborer and welder. He was a member of three different unions over 40 years: With the Printing and Lithography union in Boise, Idaho, with the International Boilermakers, and with the Plumber and Pipefitter union, most recently at Local 598 in Pasco, Washington. He retired in 2021.

Paul had many hobbies, including building furniture, fishing, hunting, and welding. He frequently helped family, friends, and even his neighbors.

Remaining to cherish Paul's memory are his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Preceding Paul in death are his parents, Margaret and Austin, stepfather Raymond, stepmother June, and younger sister, Valerie.

His children require privacy during this very difficult time. We know he was well loved by all.

A private service for the family will be held honoring Paul's memory.
