Paula Marie (Wepsala) Wintz was born November 20, 1935 in Toledo, Washington to Arthur and Mirija Wepsala. Paula passed peacefully while sleeping early the morning of December 22, 2024 at Columbus Hospice, Columbus, GA.

Paula married Iman Cecil Wintz on December 28, 1961. During the early years of their marriage, Paula worked at Longview Equipment as a buyer.

In 1972, Paula and family moved to Eastern Washington for Iman's new position with the State of Washington. She worked for a time at FFTF before changing jobs to work for Washington Public Power Supply Systems for the remainder of her career, retiring in 1989, as a Buyer/ Purchasing Agent.

In December of 2023, at the young age of 88, Paula moved to Alabama. This was the first time she lived outside of the state of Washington. After moving to the south, Paula joined card groups to play Hand & Foot, attended Church of the Highlands-Opelika and joined several Small Groups and making many new friends.

Paula is survived by daughter Julie (Charlie) Porter, Son David Wintz and Step-Daughter Terry (Toby) Rose; Grandchildren, Abigail Porter, Samantha Porter, Carrie Rose and Jeff Rose; and niece Paula Nelson and nephew Mark Hummel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Iman Wintz, her parents and her sister Eleanor.

Celebrations of Life to be held in Opelika, Alabama and Kennewick, WA at a date to be determined.

Interment will be private. Paula will rest beside her beloved Iman at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Kennewick. WA.
