La Señora Raquel Morfin, de 90 años, falleció en paz el 30 de abril de 2026 en su hogar en Pasco, Washington, rodeada del amor de su familia.

Nació el 5 de enero de 1936 en La Campana, Jalisco, México, hija de Julio Magaña Valencia y Emilia Preciado Valencia.

Raquel fue una mujer de profunda fe, devoción y gracia. Fiel asistente de la iglesia, tenía una especial devoción a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y encontraba gran paz y consuelo al rezar el Santo Rosario. Su fe guió su vida y fue ejemplo para todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla y amarla.

Encontraba alegría en las bendiciones sencillas de la vida. Disfrutaba cuidar su jardín, cultivar flores y rodearse de belleza. Sus colores favoritos, azul y salmón, reflejaban su espíritu noble y lleno de vida.

Su mayor alegría fue siempre su familia. Le sobreviven amorosamente sus hijos: Salvador, Ercelia, Santiago, María, José, Guadalupe, Javier, Manuel, Teresa, Martín y Bertha; así como 46 nietos y 26 bisnietos, quienes continuarán su legado de amor, fortaleza y fe.

Fue precedida en muerte por su amado esposo, Santiago Morfin Solario, y por sus queridos hijos, Arcelia y Ángel.

Raquel será recordada por su fe inquebrantable, su corazón amoroso y la calidez que brindaba a quienes la rodeaban. Su bondad, sabiduría y entrega a su familia dejaron un legado que vivirá para siempre.

Aunque será profundamente extrañada, su familia encuentra consuelo al saber que ahora descansa en la amorosa presencia del Señor. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en las oraciones que enseñó, en las flores que cultivó y en el amor que entregó generosamente.

Raquel Morfin, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at her home in Pasco, Washington, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on January 5, 1936, in La Campana, Jalisco, Mexico, to Julio Magaña Valencia and Emilia Preciado Valencia.

Raquel was a woman of deep faith, devotion, and grace. A faithful churchgoer, she held a special devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and found great peace and comfort in praying the Rosary. Her faith guided her life and served as an example to all who knew and loved her.

She found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and caring for the beauty around her. Her favorite colors, blue and salmon, reflected her gentle and vibrant spirit.

Raquel's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her children: Salvador, Ercelia, Santiago, Maria, Jose, Guadalupe, Javier, Manuel, Teresa, Martin, and Bertha; 46 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and faith.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Santiago Morfin Solario, and by her cherished children, Arcelia and Angel.

Raquel will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her loving heart, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her kindness, wisdom, and devotion to her family created a legacy that will live on forever.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace in knowing she is now resting in the loving presence of the Lord. Her memory will live on always in the prayers she taught, the flowers she nurtured, and the love she so freely gave.
