Richard Clay Sparrow, born on October 12, 1971, passed away on September 30, 2024. He was the beloved son of Darlene Mansfield and Henry Sparrow and a devoted father to Hunter Sparrow (28), Katherine Guzman (27), and Morgan Sparrow (24). Richard was also a cherished grandfather to Bobby Clay Guzman (3), Oliver Clay Sparrow (2), and Violet Grace Sparrow (1).

A proud veteran, Richard served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Iraq Freedom War. He is survived by his loving family, including his pallbearers: his son Hunter Sparrow, brother Nelson Sparrow, son-in-law Bobby A. Guzman, dear friend Bobby H. Guzman, son-in-law Braedon Cooper, and dear friend Goran Djuric.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 1 PM to 5 PM at Einan's at Hillcrest - Kennewick, located at 9353 W Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336. A Graveside Service will follow on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at Sunset Gardens Cemetery, located at 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352.

In his free time, Richard cherished moments spent with his children and grandchildren, who were his greatest joy. He was a simple man who found happiness in a good show or a peaceful nap. Richard will be deeply missed by all who loved him, and he will remain forever in our hearts.
