Ricky Scott, born February 3, 1948, passed away February 25 in Richland, Washington. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laura. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Irene Scott of Milwaukie, Oregon, and his brothers Randy and Ronnie.

After serving in the Navy for four years, Rick went on to graduate from Southern Oregon College with a degree in Business Administration

Rick was a long-time resident of Richland, spending many years as a manager with Mark's Card Shops at Columbia Center. Following his retirement in 2007, he was able to embrace his passion for golf at Meadow Springs Country Club where he and his wife were members for 38 years. Golf allowed him an opportunity to meet so many wonderful people that he called good friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 4 from 2 to 4 pm at Meadow Springs Country Club
