Robert Dale Wilkins, 67, of Benton City, WA passed away on September 22, 2018 in Richland, WA. He was born in Prosser, WA on June 1, 1951 to Forest W. and Betty June (Steelman) Walkins. He retired from the State of Alaska Department of Transportation as a Master Mechanic. Robert enjoyed fishing in the ocean, fixing engines, making jewelry, helping others, working with computers. He was a self educated man who was very intelligent. He is survived by his children, Sherry Mitchel, Jerry Wilkins, Christine Wilkins and Debbie Smith; step-children, Randy and Chad Stolp; grandchildren, Hugh Cowan III, Ashley Birmingham, Michelle Griffin, Britney Griffin, Olivia Smith, Jaydan Smith; great grandchildren, Carson Birmingham and Gavin Smith. He was preceded in death by brother Rodney; sisters Polly, Lynda and Judy and his parents. Robert will be Inurned at the Homer Alaska Cemetery at a later date.
