Obituary

In the loving memory of Rosie Romero. On July 23rd after prayer, Rosie M. Romero, surrounded by her family, took her last breath. Rosie was the pillar of her family. The best word to describe her is "Love", she had a deep profound love for her family. She also had an undeniable faith and such a love for God that it has been rooted into our family and passed down through generations.

Rosie was born to the late Felicita Ramires, and Felipe Orduna, in Fon du loc, Wisconsin. She had four brothers and seven sisters. Her father, Felipe, moved often following the harvest to provide for the family. Rosie and her siblings also worked alongside their parents in the Harvest. They moved to Delray, Florida where she met her late husband, Gabino Romero.

Rosie was a long time Florida resident. She worked for the McPhail family as a housekeeper for 30 years. Rosie was a devout Christian, she honored God through her family raising five kids, Angie, Jorge, Esther, Vanessa and her beloved late son David. A grandmother to 28, a great Grandmother to 19 and counting. Rosie was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, the sound of all her children, grand and great-grandchildren talking, playing and laughing. Rosie could also always be counted on by her grandchildren to be their partner in crime without question. Rosie loved making tortillas de harina for her many grand kids, taking care of her garden and sitting outside with her Cafecito soaking in the sun, watching old westerns and loved dancing rancheras, cumbia, and let's not leave out chubby checker. Pork chops in gravy and bologna sandwiches were some of her favorite foods. When the adults would party, she also loved being serenaded by her husband Gabino, who would sing her favorite Vicente Fernandez songs.

Rosie's love and devotion to God & her family is the legacy she leaves behind. She will forever be in the hearts of all her loved ones. Her family is at peace knowing she is now in heaven rejoicing alongside her loved ones who have passed on.

Psalm 23

1

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

He leads me beside quiet waters,

3

He refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name's sake.

4

Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

5

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

6

Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.
