S. John Housholder of Benton City, Washington passed away on February12, 2022, he was 77 years old. John was born on January 7, 1945, in St. Mary's, Illinois to his parents Stanley Romaine and Margaret Jane (Hassler) Housholder. John was a member of the Grace & Truth Community Church in West Richland, WA. He enjoyed restoring cars, both engines and body work. Going to local concerts and plays, spending time with his children and grandchildren, enjoying the coast/beaches and he really enjoyed home cooking. He retired as a Broadcaster Engineer working for the University of Nevada Las Vegas, NBC and locally at KEPR-TV. John is survived by his son J. Devin Housholder; daughter Jo Dee Freck; grandsons Jarrett Housholder, Rory Freck and Zackary Freck. A Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, WA. The Funeral service will be on Monday, February 21, 2022, ~ 11:00 am at Grace & Truth Community Church, 1301 Bombing Range Rd., West Richland, WA, followed by Graveside services at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S.
