On July 17, 2025, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother passed away at the age of 81. Sharon was born on February 13, 1944, to Clarence Johnston and Mabel Johnston (Andersen) in Bellingham, Washington. Sharon left Washington to work at her aunt and uncle's campground outside of Kalispell, Montana. Sharon met her best friend and the love of her life, Francis Neumayer, while in Montana, and enjoyed 57 years together. During their time together, they had two daughters, Toni Neumayer (Strang) and Kathy Neumayer (Morris), and a son, Jerry Neumayer. Sharon managed various apartments and mobile home parks after her children left their home. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gambling, spending time with the family, and especially dancing with Francis. Sharon is survived by her sister, Linda Matthiesen of Pasco, Washington, her two daughters, Toni (Nick) Strang and Kathy (Dave) Morris, and son, Jerry (Elizabeth) Neumayer, her grandchildren, Curtis, Tiffany, Chad, Samantha, Khailyn, and Jakob. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Brady, Blake, Mateo, and Sarah, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends who were near and dear to her heart.
