Sharon Lee Skinnell, age 80, of Richland, Washington passed away on November 12th , 2024 after a 2 year battle with cancer.

She was born on July 23rd, 1944, in Pasco, Washington, to Fred Leonard and Edith Leonard ( Yost). She was the 13th of 15 children. Sharon graduated from Columbia High School in Burbank, Washington and spent her life dedicated to her family as a full time wife and mother/grandmother.

After raising her children, she enjoyed spending time crafting and making gifts for others, raising her birds, baking, doing puzzles and reading. Her greatest loves after Jesus were her late husband Alfred Skinnell and her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her siblings, Henry Leonard, Shirley Newell, Jackie Allen, Darlene Darden, Robert Leonard, Linda Ford and Cherie Finley. Her children, Shannon Bennett and husband Keith, Paul Skinnell and wife Annie, and Patti Montgomery and husband Randall. Her grandchildren, Kristopher Bennett and Roxann, Jennifer Verduzco, Nathan Bennett, Derek Skinnell and wife Lynnea, Nicole Van Corbach and husband Joel, Jacob Skinnell and wife Megan, Bryson Bennett, Lexi Montgomery, Natalie Montgomery and RJ Montgomery. As well as great grandchildren, Dominic Van Corbach, Haylen Verduzco, Elliot Verduzco, Aurora Dixon, Dominic Smith, Rebecca Van Corbach, Logan Van Corbach, Jamie Skinnell, Rhythym Bennett, Evelyn Skinnell and Levi Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Edith Leonard, her husband Alfred Skinnell and siblings Emma Bass, Bud Leonard, Jean Miller, Flossy Mills, Susie Mills, Nancy Aichele, and Betty Decker.

Her greatest love in this life was Jesus, she was not afraid to die because she knew that death meant spending eternity with her savior. She is walking streets of gold and enjoying her family who went before her. We will remember the silly times, the sassy moments, and the great wisdom she imparted.
