Ted Gaylan Blaine of Kennewick, Washington passed away on December 27, 2022, he was 76 years old. Ted was born on March 11, 1946, in New London, Connecticut, to Edwin and Ruth Blaine.

Ted served in the United States Army, was a combat Engineer and Sergeant SP5. He was the Post Commander and life member of the Kennewick VFW Post #5785.

Ted's hobbies included Model trains, woodworking, gardening, and tinkering with all kinds of things. Collecting dogs and cats and giving them a good, loving home, no matter what.

Ted is survived by his daughter Pam (Scott) Schield; sons, Edward (Amy) Blaine, and Robert Slagle; granchildren, Roer Hays, Paige Blaine, Everett Blaine, Kodiak Blaine, Jayden Blaine, and Savannah Blaine. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Pat, Donna, and Missy; brother Jan; sons Andres and Ted, Jr.; his first wife Helene and the love of his life, his second wife Paulie Blaine.

A Graveside service will be held on January 10, 2023, from 11am-12pm at the Columbia River Cemetery, Pasco, Washington
