Toshiko (Toni) Ono Lane (86), proud Pasco, WA resident, peacefully passed away Saturday October 22, 2016 surrounded by love and family at the same place of her birth April 2, 1930 Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Daughter of Toshio and Sawayo Ono who relocated from Hiroshima, Japan to Pasco, Wa to become one of many Pasco's first residents in the area. Graduate of Pasco High, Toshiko worked at Tri-City Linen and wrote to her brother's childhood friend and love of her life Bruce L. Lane. They married in 1955. Bruce and her brothers built the home they shared. Together they shared 43 years of love and had three children and one grandchild before Bruce's passing in 1998. Toshiko could always be found gardening, crocheting, cooking or writing to her friends. Her best years were spent planting and watering her many flowers, fruits, and vegetables as well as generosity given to family and friends. She was a dear and loyal friend to many. She is survived by her best friend and only sister Fumi Ono, brothers Tommy and Jimmy (Delores) Ono, her daughter Stacy Lane (Jerry Storm), sons Guy and Ford Lane, Grandson Jesse (Katelynn) Lane and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Toshio and Sawayo Ono, brothers Frank, Harry, Bobby, Johnny Ono. The Ono and Lane family extends much appreciation to the hard-working and patiently empathetic staff at Lourdes Medical Center.
