Walter Leo McQueen, age 61, died on December 5, 2010 at Tri-City Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick, WA. He was born November 16, 1949 in Ogalalla, Nebraska to Floyd Elwood and Vera Luella McQueen. Walter served in the US Army during the Viet Nam conflict. On March 18, 1972 Walter married Anna Sue Fritsch. They have lived in the Tri-Cities for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing and cars. Walter is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Daniel McQueen; daughters, Rebecca Rider, Tracy McQueen, Kandy Kinney and Ginger Dingus. A casual Celebration of Life with military honors will be held on December 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Columbia Valley Grange, 6300 West Court St., Pasco. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund in his name at Hapo Credit Union.
