He loved his country very much. He worked hard as a Master Electrician with the Army Core of Engineers, building Hydro electric power stations and Dams all across the Western United States. Many of us still have power because of his hard work. Wayne also really loved his dogs, usually Weiner dogs with names that began with the letter "O". His favorite past time was sailing the mighty Colombia River on the sailboats that he built himself and Christmas Light Shipping during the holidays. He also enjoyed vacationing in Lincoln City Oregon on the Pacific Coast, crabbing and fishing. After retirement he dedicated many hours to the VFW and served as a Commander of hall. All who knew him believed he was a very hard working, and genuinely kind person.
