Obituary

William Leo Osborne, age 76, of Kennewick Washington, passed away at Providence, St Mary's Hospital, Walla Walla, WA. On May 18, 2023, from Sepsis, a complication of his chronic Kidney Failure.

Bill as everyone knew him, was born in Santa Monica, CA to Oscar Osborne and Freida Hellmuth, on July 8, 1946. He served in the Navy, prior to his marriage to Deborah Osborne on July 7, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV. Soon after his first-born son was born in Las Vegas, in 1975, the family moved to Tri-cities, WA. Bill worked with Radiation Monitoring, on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation until he retired in 2012.

Bill worked hard and studied hard for his Bachelor of Science, at ESU, while raising his boys, and coaching soccer. The family belonged to Cathedral of the Desert church, which is now Hillspring Church. Bill loved being with family. He absolutely loved to tease anyone and everyone. He was nicknamed "TROUBLE" by many friends, nurses & family. In fact, he was joking with the nurses the day before he passed.

Bill was a member of CHIPS/ Citizens Helping in Police Services, for the KPD, for many years. He held offices, had regular duties as well as helping out with annual events such as the Polar Plunge, Water Follies & Parking lot security, His medical conditions required him to stop these activities, but he attended meetings as long as possible. He still has friends in CHIPS & the KPD.

Bill & Debbie took thirteen cruises between 1976 & 2018. They knew the kidney disease would shorten his activities, so they took to the seas as much as possible. No tux /suit for Bill, He had a T-shirt Tux!

Bill was preceded in Death by both parents. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, sons Paul & Adam, granddaughter Alex and grandson Finley in the Tri-City area, Sister Ann Otto, and many nieces and nephews from Las Vegas, NV.
