Willie B. Brooks was born on January 26, 1934 to Rallis and Cinderella Brooks in Queen City, Texas. The family relocated to Pasco, WA in 1954. Upon arriving in Pasco, Willie meet the love of his life Lula Brooks and they relocated to Portland, OR. They had a baby girl name Lola Brooks. Willie worked as carpet layer most of his life until retirement back in 2008. Willie was part of the Portland Baseball League Team hitting numerous home runs for the team and winning games. Willie loved hanging out with family especially his daughter who is nicknamed (baby girl), traveling to different cities, going to the park for events, watching sports, and playing Dominos. Willie was always smiling and laughing in life with everyone who crossed his path. Willie's health started to decline in 2017, and Willie relocated to Pasco, WA with his daughter Lola Brooks who took care of him until his time of passing on May 28, 2023. Willie leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter, Lola Brooks; brothers Robert and Ray Brooks; sister Geneva Beasley; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Willie is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Rayfield and Eugene Brooks; sister Eva James and Norva Lee Tate, Lola's mom Lula Brooks; sisters-in-law Jamie and Judy Brooks; brother-in-law J.C. Beasley and Wilson "Jr." Tate.  A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
