Жизнь Елены Бортник

Бортник Елена Григорьевна родилась 19 мая 1932 года в деревне Кашивка Волынской области. В семье Данилюк Григорий Оксентиевич и Параска Федоровна, Елена была одной из двух дочерей и трех сыновей.

У родителей Елены было большое хозяйство, много земли и Елена с ранних лет тяжело работала, помогала родителям обрабатывать поля пшеницы, картошку и прочие, и также пасти коров и все что необходимое делать по дому.

В 1941 году пришла Вторая Мировая Война в Украину и к ним в деревню, пришли немецкие солдаты и приказали всем уйти из деревни и сожгли все дома в деревне. Родители Елены и все односельчане ушли скрываться от бомбежек в леса в зимнее время. Они прожили в лесу около шесть месяцев. Вернувшись обратно в деревню с обгоревшими домами, люди начали строить дома обживаться по новому, было очень тяжелое время для всех.

Детство и юность Елены прошли в тяжелое время Войны и послевоенное время, но благодаря своим родителям и их вере в Бога они преодолели все трудности. Елена повзрослела и 18 декабря 1956 года она вышла замуж за Бортник Андрей Константинович. У Елены и Андрея родились шестеро детей. В 1968 году Елена и Андрей покаялись, приняли водное крещение и активно посещали Богослужение. После этого у них началась тяжелая жизнь и они подверглись гонениям за веру в Бога. Преодолевши эти трудные годы испытаний за их веру в Бога, 13 сентября 1985 году Елена потеряла своего любимого мужа Андрея. Но не смотря на все эти трудности Елена всегда была верной женой, любящей матерью и Богобоязненной Христианкой.

В 1993 году Елена и ее двое младших детей иммигрировали до США и начали свою новую жизнь полную свободы и любви к Богу, посещать собрание и благодарить Бога за мирную жизнь. Вскоре Елена помогла всем своим детям иммигрировать в США. Через некоторое время Елена потеряла свою старшую дочь из-за тяжелой продолжительной болезни рака. В это же время у Елены была диагностирована болезнь Альцгеймера. На протяжении двадцати лет борьбы с этой болезнью у Елены появились новые болезни сердца, легких, и в последствии кровоизлияние в мозг что и послужило причиной ее смерти. Елена отошла в вечность в возрасте 94-х лет, окруженная заботой и любовью родных и близких.

The Life of Elena Bortnik

Yelena Grigoryevna Bortnik was born on May 19, 1932, in the village of Kashivka, Volyn Region, Ukraine. She was born to GRIGORIY Oksentiyovych Danyliuk and Paraska Fedorovna Danyliuk and was one of five children, with two daughters and three sons in the family.

Yelena's parents owned a large farm and worked extensive farmland. From a very young age, Yelena worked hard alongside her family, helping cultivate wheat, potatoes, and other crops, tending the cows, and performing many of the daily household responsibilities.

In 1941, World War II reached Ukraine and their village. German soldiers arrived, ordered all the residents to leave, and burned every home in the village. Yelena's family, along with the other villagers, fled into the forests during the winter to escape the bombings. They lived in the forest for approximately six months. When they returned, they found their homes destroyed and burned. The villagers began rebuilding their homes and starting over, a very difficult time for everyone.

Yelena's childhood and youth were marked by the hardships of war and the difficult years that followed. However, through the example of her parents and their unwavering faith in God, she overcame these challenges. On December 18, 1956, Yelena married Andrey Konstantinovich Bortnik. Together they were blessed with six children.

In 1968, Yelena and Andrey repented, were baptized by immersion, and became devoted followers of Christ, faithfully attending church services. Because of their Christian faith, they endured years of persecution and hardship. After faithfully persevering through these trials, Yelena experienced the heartbreaking loss of her beloved husband, Andrey, on September 13, 1985. Despite the many difficulties she faced, Yelena remained a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a faithful Christian who feared and trusted the Lord.

In 1993, Yelena immigrated to the United States with her two youngest children, where they began a new life filled with the freedom to worship God openly. She faithfully attended church services and continually thanked God for the blessing of living in peace. In time, Yelena helped all of her children immigrate to the United States.

Some years later, Yelena endured another profound loss when her oldest daughter passed away after a long battle with cancer. Around the same time, Yelena was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Throughout the next twenty years, she courageously battled Alzheimer's while also facing heart disease, lung disease, and eventually a brain hemorrhage, which ultimately led to her passing.

Yelena entered eternity at the age of 94, surrounded by the love, care, and presence of her family and loved ones.
