Obituary

In Loving Memory of Sundii Jones In Eureka, California on June 27, 1958 God blessed Peggy (Grace Evelyn) and Floyd Bonnet with a baby girl they named Sundii who would bless the world with her very large loving heart to serve others. But on October 3, 2013, God wanted a new, very special angel to be with Him in Heaven. So on that day He welcomed Sundii Jones, a woman with a big, warm heart for everyone she met, to join Him for her eternal life in Heaven. Our angel on earth has now gone home We are comforted knowing that in Heaven Sundii is completely free from the pain and suffering she experienced in her last months on earth. In Heaven she has been happily reunited with her son Christian, although Sundii and Christian will most likely continue their friendly arguments about something for eternity. Sundii will now be able to join her very loving grandmother and grandfather Jones who preceded her. She also was welcomed in Heaven with big loving smiles from her mother and grandma and grandpa Quijada. Sundii Jones spent the later years of her life trying to help everyone she could overcome their personal problems by explaining how God's words in the Bible clearly show us how every problem or issue we encounter can be overcome-if we take the time to read, study and understand His written words. At times people would not want to listen to her, but her faith persisted and she never failed to try to explain God's word to those in need. Sundii knew what she believed and was fearless in expressing it. Sundii's dream was for everyone to build a relationship with Jesus Christ and to live with God forever. Her work for God here on earth produced amazing results for Him. Left behind on earth to join Sundii later in Heaven are her favorite puppy Recon; husband Doug; son Louis Quijada and his wife Kat, both currently serving in the US Army in Germany; daughter Shannon and her new-born son, Lucas; step-daughter Kassie; step son Josh and Antinett; sister Shannon Novakovich and her husband Skip; fostersister Patty Berge; Mike and Shannon Novakovich; Kim and Joe Kersey and their children; Beth and Andrew Ledfordand their children; Roger and Terrie Jones; and numerous grand children. There is no doubt that Sundii Jones will be missed by so many, but she will forever be fondly remembered for the positive impact she had on the lives of her many friends at Calvary Chapel of the Tri-Cities, Smart Reality, and all the real estate agents, brokers and clients she served with Christian business principles and values. In the midst of Sundii's death on earth, God brought forth life in so many others. Our family would like to give our sincere heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people at the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice. Their love and care for Sundii will forever be appreciated We realize that we would miss Sundii more if we did not know that we would see her when God called us home to join her in Heaven. Her big loving smile along with the joy and love she gave us will never die. So we ask that you, too, rejoice with us as we celebrate the culmination and crowning achievement of her life - Sundii's Homegoing. The family welcomes you to join them for a Celebration of Sundii's Beautiful Life at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 14th at Calvary Chapel, 10611 W. Clearwater Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99336. In honor of Sundii being such a big fan of Duck Dynasty, and never missing an episode, the family is inviting you to attend the memorial service dressed in your finest Duck Dynasty commemorative dress - optional of course.
